A plan for a search screen came back naming two components that did not exist. No code had been written yet, so nothing was blocked. A missing block should stop a feature, and planning is the cheapest place to find out.

An avatar, a name, a job title. A component library settles each piece. It doesn't settle the arrangement, and that layer needs an owner and a way to be found.

A production bug taught me that the useful thing about a building block is often what it won't let you do. That lesson matters more now that a non-deterministic model is the one assembling the pieces.
